Assigning multiple posts to an author

    Hello,

    I’m looking for a quick way to assign multiple posts or pages to an author at one time. I can’t find a plugin that does this, in fact assigning multiple authors to a single post is very popular yet assigning multiple posts at one time is not.

    I’m assigning bulk posts very often and manage about 600 pages and counting. Clicking assign to each post or page is getting miserable. Any advice short of SQL queries would be appreciated.

    I can create a simple plugin that will help with this.

    in the posts main page (where it lists all the posts on the site), click on the checkbox next to the word title (this selects all posts in the list), in the dropdown labelled “Bulk Actions” select edit. this opens a new section where you can assign an author to all the posts at once.

    keep doing this until you’ve done all the posts you need to.
