    I have a testimonial side bar widget. I have set the autoplay so it slides, but how do i control the speed?

    I am just typing the shortode into a text widget in the sidebar. So it is just more general question, how do i write in the code to control the speed??

    I have visual composer which has the Testimonials as one of its element

    This still sounds like something specific to your site, and we’re trying to understand what your site uses so that we can replicate the issue. If you’re unsure where this testimonial shortcode derives from you can try deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any are responsible. If none are then it sounds like it’s coming from your theme. Then you can tell us which theme you’re using.

    I am running a paid theme. But as mentioned the code is written inside a text widget in the sidebar. Is the code for Testimonials not generic??

    not general at all – rather very specific to the code behind the shortcode, possibly javascript (?)

    what plugin are you using for the testimonial slider?
