    Dear Community,

after hours of research, searching the forums and reading many posts about this topic, I see no other way but to post here.

I have a small WordPress installation (total of 750KB including pics, themes and plugins) on my webspace. The webspace has a total of 64mb memory. My few plugins (W3 total cache and WP Seo by Yoast amongst a few others) continue to eat up my entire memory. How is this possible? I constantly get messages like:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 76 bytes) in /var/www/web425/html/wp-includes/pomo/entry.php on line 43

This is what I have tried so far:
I have added the line define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); to my wp-config.php. I have also contacted my hoster, who told me to contact wordpress or my theme creator for support. The website is: https://www.kletterseilvergleich.de

Thank you very much for your help!

I just ran a test to see how much memory my Basic wordpress installation takes up. It takes up about 42mb of memory, just for WP (4.0). Is that normal? It seems excessive.

I upgraded my memory with a bigger package
