One thing you could do would be to copy the entire JavaScript code (except for <script type="text/javascript"> and </script>) into a file named showcase.js, upload it to your web host, and then use wp_enqueue_script to call it in like this:

  wp_enqueue_script( 'showcase', get_template_directory_uri . '/showcase.js', null, null, true );
}
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'add_my_script' );
