How to Design Completely Different Homepage!!?

  • Hi everyone,

    I’m using WP for quite a while. I wonder if there is any way to design completely different homepage design from the one that themes offer? I test Headspace but it’s not what I’m looking for.

    I want something to give me freedom of design a page and define it as my homepage.

  • Hi,

    There are different ways to achieve this.

    The safest way is, you create a page titled “Home”. Then create a file in the theme directory and name is page-home.php . You can write your codes for homepage here.

    And then you can go to Settings -> Reading and then under “Front Page Displays” option, you can choose this page.
