Poodle and Authorize.net

    This is more of a question regarding checking out using Authorize.net gateway with WP eCommerce and Gold cart. I recently got an email from Authorize.net saying they are not going to use SSLv3 anymore due to POODLE and to make sure my shopping cart does not use SSLv3 to avoid interruption of service on November 4.

    My question is does the Authorize.net gateway use SSLv3? If so will it be fixed in time so I can avoid interruption of service?

    Hi justawebbie,

    The Authorize.net module in Gold Cart does not use SSL 3.0. It uses the SDK provided directly by Authorize.net and should be unaffected by the POODLE vulnerability.

    I installed and activated it and after that , I reloaded my website and it is not showing up, what should I do , please help me !!

    What version of WordPress are you running? Anything in your error logs?

    Thank you! Had to be sure that all was going to be good.

    I use Authorize.net as well on my wp site. The security code that they gave me no longer shows my site to be secured. I get no errors when I click on my donate button. I am using the current version of WP and bbPress. My site is https://raptureintheairnow.com/
