Harmonic theme related questions

Hello,

I’ve started using the Harmonic theme but I have some questions about it.

I’ve read the ? setting up you front page ? but that was not enough to resolve my problems.

Two questions:

1. When I activate the theme, a section ? Homepage ? is automatically created in the menu, referring to my blog address.
To create the front page, I have created a new ? homepage ? page instead of the previous one, but it now refers to https://www.myblog address/homepage. I would like the homepage (=frontpage) to be linked directly to the main address. I can modify the address from the page section but it automatically modified it to www…./homepage. Any ideas ?

2. I would like to create a slide show in my front page with a possibility to go to the next picture by clicking (on a ? next ? button for example). Do you know how I could insert it ?
