My first post does have a photo in it, but on home page no image shows

Hi, I am trying to see if Inkzine is the theme for my site and I get it set up as a test and do my first post.
It shows the grey picture thing on the home page and if you hover over that it shows the text of my post and I can click on it and it takes me to the post but I can’t find how to make the photo that is in the post show on the home page instead of the grey thing that just looks like a drawing of a Polaroid photo.

Anyone know how to fix that or is that only in the paid version?
