• Hello,

I would first like to say that this is a great plugin, it works just fine in my main menu. The issue I am having is that it does not work with WP Symposium Toolbar, which uses menus to create a nav bar at the top of the page. You can see what I mean at https://www.lazymas.com/staging/, you will also notice that in the left nav menu you will see the active cart. I need the same exact thing, just located in the upper right side of the top bar. If there is any way you could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hello Sartorius,
Can you tell me what exactly doesn’t work? All I see now is the Menu Cart in the left menu, which seems to work fine.
If WP Symposium Toolbar uses menus, it should also be able to display the menu cart in one of those menus, although if you use the free version you can only assign it to one location at a time of course.

    Hello Ewout,

I am using the free version, and only added the Menu Cart to the left sidebar menu as a way to show that it works on some aspects. In WP Symposium Toolbar you create menus and then assign them to positions on the toolbar. For instance, on the right side of the toolbar the “Sign Up” item is actually an individual custom menu called “WPS Login” and the “Register” link is a menu called “Register”.

The only thing I can think of is that the theme I am using only has one menu location called “header menu” which is what you see on the left. If you need to see the backend I can e-mail the credentials (it is a staging site anyway).

    Hello Sartorius,
Sorry for the delayed response. I think you’re right that the theme only has one menu location. I have checked out the WPS Toolbar, and it looks like it’s not compatible with the way Menu Cart hooks into the WordPress menus.

There is one other way of adding the menu cart to the Admin Bar though, see this thread for more information:

I’m not sure if that’s compatible with WPS Toolbar though…
    Hope that helps!
