Showing courses when using categories

I made a category ‘courses’ and i edited the course content to the category ‘courses’. When i use the category ‘courses ‘ in my menubar, it doesnt show the courses. Also, when i use another category (‘blog’) and use it in my main menu, it shows the courses as well, next to the posts i categorized as ‘blog’….
What do i do wrong?
