Order By Question

  • I’m a little confused on how the sorting works.

    Right now one of my ads, I have the coding as this;

    [dfads params='groups=36&orderby=random&order=ASC']

    But how would I have it if I wanted it to go through the ads for that 36 group one by one, like say ad 1, ad 2, ad 3, etc as they were inputted, rotating each refresh of the page. I thought by ID but I thought I read somewhere that then it would only ever show the first ID and that was it so I’m not sure.

    Having the ads go through in order of 1, 2, 3, … etc is not possible.

    Oh okay, so it has to be random then… I only ask because right now, I have it set as random, but I only have 1 ad in the group so most of the time, no ad shows up, I guess because I don’t have enough ads in the group?

    If there’s only 1 ad in the group, turn don’t add the “orderby” parameter.
