Possibility of Multi function website with worpress

Hi everyone, I am new at wordpress and want to build a big website with it. I need advice on how these features may be implemented and if it is possible. Anyone will be able to sign up and have a profile that they can make public or keep private. They will also have the permission to upload different kind of content such as videos, audio, articles, books, etc. and share them with other people. All uploaded content from various users should be visible under the specified category sections by anyone on the website. It should also be possible to like, comment and share content created by anyone. Users should also have their private notes, or any uploaded content.

it should be possible to search by category, or type of media (video, article etc) or to search for people (users)

Please advise on how that can be done, and how long you think it would take.
