Subscribe2 (10.17.2) Plugin not working at all

  • Hi,

    I have just freshly installed Subscribe2 (10.17.2) Plugin , in my Canvas theme.
    Followed the install instructions to the letter….

    What ever I try it is not saving any subscribers.
    -The ones I enter manually as an admin.
    -The ones I try to enter as a guest.

    It does not save the new subscribers, nor does it send any email.
    I tried deactivating the few plug-ins I have running already.

    I guess it has to do with the fact Subscribe2 (10.17.2) has not been tested/approved with WP4.0 yet… ?? reading the Forums/blogs about this.

    I need this to work, as “Jetpack” has poor to none subscriber management at all ??
