• Hi,

I am using WP-FFPC network activated on a WP network.

I have selected the 4th Cache invalidation method: modified post and posts index page

But when I modify a post, the post cache is well refreshed but not the home page displaying the last recent posts.

Is it a normal behaviour ?

And if yes, is there a way to invalidate the home page cache when a post is modified ?

    Thanks for your help.

I’ll take a look at that method, because in my opinion, it should invalidate the home as well, but that code part was a pull request which I added recently and is not my own work.

    For now, use another method.

    Hi,

    thanks for your quick reply.

I tried the method “3.modified post and all taxonomies” but the home page is not refreshed as well.

Is the method 1 (flush cache) the only method which clears the home page when a post is updated ?

Any update on this? Curious if there’s a flush method that clears home page cache without requiring going nuclear

It looks like the one for method 3 is in development but not turned on yet. As of v1.8.3 anyway.

Method 4 should flush the assigned page for posts.

It all depends on the option show_on_front. If it is “page” then you are using custom page ids for the start page (page_on_front) and the posts page (page_for_posts).
