    Hi there!

For some reason, the {response} appears below the form and submit button.

It displays fine and hides the form if you use new details but does not hide the form if, for example, you have submitted your details before or use a fake address.

You can see it in action, in the hero, here –

Some fake info to recreate the issue:
    Name – John
    Company – Mailinator
    Email – [email protected]

Any idea what could be going on?

    Help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I think the error you’re referring to is only shown to WordPress administrators, I’m seeing a general “Oops, something went wrong” error trying the details you supplied here.

For some reason, the email address [email protected] is rejected by MailChimp. I am not entirely sure what could be causing this (too many tries?) and it is really outside of the scope of the plugin to do something about this.

Do you see other error or success messages in different places? I just tried but all I see is just one message.

    Let me know please!

Thanks for the response and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Should {response} appear where ever you put the tag? I find unless the sign up is successful, it always appears below the submit button.

I would like it to appear above submit.
