    *Update*

Age shows as usual for users who have already set it before I updated. So this is just a problem for users who have not yet registrered or set their age.

What theme are you using? I believe it’s because the themes have not updated their templates and they are using old functions of buddypress. This is still working for buddypress but not with my plugin until version 2.0 I think…

    Thanks for your reply donmik!

I’m using a purchased theme called Social Buddy.

I think you might be right, they haven’t updated the theme in a while.

I had a similar problem with the Commons In A Box theme version 1.0.8. Take a look at the edit.php file that comes with Buddypress at wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress/members/single/profile/edit.php. I ended up just copying it into the child theme I’m using instead of what I had and now the custom fields show up again.

You need to do what @cwjordan says. Take a look at buddypress files edit.php and register.php and update your template files.

Thanks for your answers, I’ll try and fix it. I ran into some problems creating a childtheme so it may take a while.

@donmik Congrats on the little one btw! Read you’ve recently become a dad in another thread ??

It’s a premium, I can’t do much. Maybe you have a custom registration template with this theme and you have to copy some code from buddypress inside it or change it and use a buddypress template for registration…

I’m sorry but I can’t help you much since this a work dependent from your theme and not my plugin…

i’m using custom coding, but can u give me a direction to any code will be usefull for me?

    *Update*

I wasn’t able to fix it either. I copied Edit.php and register.php to my child theme.

@donmik, you said “take a look at register.php” – what is it i’m looking for there?
