Twitter Tools: Not updating with assigned category from options

  • New Twitter Tools plugin from Alex King doesn’t seem to respect the category set in options when posting the tweet to your blog. Other problems I’ve seen: the post isn’t getting associated with an author and cron not updating the blog.

  • The cron not working is something I’m trying to debug. Posting into the category works for me and the default author is set for me as well.

    What version of WordPress are you using?

    I’m having the same problem with the latest version of WordPress

    Grab the latest version of the plugin.

    I have the same problem with the latest version of the plugin and the latest version of WordPress.

    The daily digest is produced correctly, but it does not set the category or author unless I manually open the daily digest and then re-save it. THEN it grabs the author and the category.

    Not a huge deal, but it definitely is a little annoying.
