logged in to host but can't find files

  • Ask your webhost where public_html or the www directory are located.

    .DS_Store files are junk files that get uploaded from OS X.

    Yes you were right, I had the ftp path messed up. It should end with public_html but when I did it the first time I just accepted the default which had slash my name after that public_html so I could not access the public_html.
