• I have been told by a few that this plugin by YOAST may be causing it. To further explain over the last week our so sites like Facebook and LinkedIn have had trouble fetching our site data, AKA the set meta description, featured images, etc. I was just curious as to if anybody has linked the two issues, and what you suggest to amend it.

  • Use of the CDN is what my problem is. Facebook just decides it doesn’t like CDN links and won’t display anything because of it.

I know you can make a filter to get around that but I just don’t know enough PHP yet to figure it out- spent hour trying – Yoast you gonna help us out please? It would be awesome! How do you replace you CDN URL to a Something else using the filter or action?

Dealing with the same issue. Updated to the new WordPress SEO 7 days ago and since then I can’t share any of my posts on social media (Facebook/Twitter).

I’ve run one of my URLs through the Facebook Debugger and it says my og:type property and og:url property is missing. Also the canonical URL doesn’t match the fetch URL. It’s been driving me crazy. The biggest issue is I deactived the plugin, wrote a test post and I’m still having the same issues.
