Adding new menu item breaks the menu hierarchy

  • Helo.

    This is a problem that I have been having.
    –If I add a new top level item, when i save menu every item becomes top level item.
    –When I remove that item and save again the menu is returned with all the parent child relationship intact.
    –If I add a new child item to an existing menu item everything fine.

    Has anybody encountered this kind of problem?
