Disable Featured Posts

    So I have the featured post setting “Include featured posts in content area” unchecked, because I don’t want to include featured posts in the content are (the slider). However the blog page still persists to show the slider no matter whether I have it selected the setting or not.

    Is this a bug or how can I have my blog page not include this slider?
