    Hey guys/gals/gender appropriate titles,

I’m trying to figure out how to delete the “Meta” sidebar category and the title-less Black background just beneath the header.

I want this done for every blog post, so I’m sure there is a template or something that needs some editing or some CSS into the child theme that I’m just not getting. I’m a serious noob and didn’t start learning this stuff until trying to make this site.

    I’d appreciate the support! =D

  • Hello Gaige. The meta widget can be removed by going to appearance -> widgets, locating the sidebar where the widgets are placed and removing the meta widget.

The title less black bit below the header (logo/menu) contains your breadcrumbs, are you comfortable with hiding them as well?

Yes, I am comfortable with hiding those breadcrumbs. I’m not worried about it.

(Sorry for the late response, out of the modern world for a bit.)

Also, sidebar thing accomplished. I appreciate it!

Never mind on that last bit about the breadcrumbs. I found a selection in my theme options that I had previously overlooked!

I appreciate all of the help!
