See you’ve made a few adjustements and enhancements on this lovely plugin, but still I have a few issues I cannot resolve, I’ve been looking at your code but I’m still in the dark on these problems I encounter:

    WordPress post type:

    – Text from the message (post type) (below_text) is displayed in HTML when in live view. In Developer Tools (Chrome), where I should find html source code ‘<p>etcetera… ‘ I see double quotation marks around the content inserted by getLocationHTML(below_text). So … it doesn’t interpret the HTML is my guess….

    – I’ve succesfully configured the settings for the Facebook Feed, but it caught my attention that in the case a Facebook status has no image attached to it, the status is not shown in the message, it remains blank. Such aggregated messages also do not link to the original message on Facebook, the link just contains the Site URL.

    – The WordPress Icon from fontawesome font is still missing. Thx to your enhancement, I can change it to my preferred icon, but it just won’t accept the default wordpress icon. Just for your information, I don’t really need that Icon anyway.

Anyways, I see you have been busy updating your module, hope you see time to address these issues or give me some information on how to solve these (first two) problems.

If you like I could send you screenshots of the problems as they occur in my project.

You can find screenshots for your convenience here:

Source Code Google Developer tools (I’ve opened the blank FB message & WordPress post type in code):

Screenshot of your plugin with html source code displayed and empty FB messages:

Maybe another issue, I should probably post under different topics for each one, but the limit on messages per feed doesn’t work either.

Thank you very much for the feedback I really do not have enough to work on this plugin. Today I will try to solve these problems.

    Best regards, Eugen.

Very kind of you, I consider this a ‘Must Have’ plugin when it’s fully developed. Be glad to give it a five star rating afterwards

If you need more info I will gladly provide…

    Best regards,
    Stéphane

Fixed. Please download new plugin version.

Please give me your Facebook settings. I want to test how it will work with them.

Look this video guide, it should help https://youtu.be/YasOMDupmvw.

    Thanks for help.

First 1, fixed, no html in post after I updated to version 1.08.

Still no luck in limiting the feed items though, it’s still unlimited. Setting not active, it was before in version 1.04

Problems with the facebook feed are indeed strange, I’ll send you the facebook settings by mail.

    Thx in advance!

Yes it should be. In the feed post should not have HTML code only a short description. The idea is that the user would be able to go into an extended message after clicks on the link.

You can limit messages per one feed here https://prntscr.com/4sezv5

Yes, I’ve seen that option to limit the post count, but it doesn’t work (here)

Same for the option ‘include category id’s, that one issn’t working either, I have 3 categories, it shows them all, can’t filter on Id or on category name either

I’ve sent you a link to the page too, it’s in your mail, thx for the quick response!
