Displaying Product Categories

    I’m trying to turn my categories archive page into a landing page for the category. I am using categories to represent “Artists”

    My archive page currently displays the following:
    SHOP
    Artist Name: “category-name”

    Can I change “Shop” to display the Category Name and change the sub-header to display Category image and category description? I found a number of functions.php snippets but I have no PHP training and can’t get it to work.

    2)
    Is there a way to display the category as a link below the product name on the archives and product grid pages? If so, I could have the Art Title as Product Name and below it would be the Artist Name (linked to the artist archive page)
