RSS bug due to SQL Database?
-
RSS readers (Google Reader, Feed Burner, etc.) cannot find an RSS feed at my blog (https://microclesia.com).
I’ve replaced the custom theme with 100% generic Kubrick. No help.
I’ve asked my host (ehost.com) if they were the issue. They were of no help.
I upgraded to Ella 2.1. No help.
The only possible problems remaining are the database and the hosting account, no? Perhaps there is something screwy in the SQL database header area – this is what feedvalidator.org seems to indicate.
Can anyone tell me what’s wrong? Is there a sample of a “known good” WordPress SQL database I can view? Here’s what feedvalidator says:
…
This feed does not validate.
* line 2, column 0: XML parsing error: <unknown>:2:0: xml declaration not at start of external entity
<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>
In addition, this feed has an issue that may cause problems for some users. We recommend fixing this issue.
* Feeds should not be served with the “text/html; charset=UTF-8” media type
