Hi, my marker icons are no longer showing within my maps ever since I upgraded to WordPress 4.0, at least that’s when I noticed. I’ve gone back to a default theme, disabled all plugins and tried adding a new marker but haven’t been able to figure it out. When I try adding a custom marker using the shortcode that does work, but the markers I’ve added in the backend and put popup text and other info aren’t working. I’m using the most current version of the plugin.

Hi,
not sure what happended on your site – anyway the GeoJSON needed for layer maps to load (https://awakeningyouth.com/wp-content/plugins/leaflet-maps-marker/leaflet-geojson.php?layer=1&full=no&full_icon_url=no) is not accessible anymore. The readme-file at https://awakeningyouth.com/wp-content/plugins/leaflet-maps-marker/readme.txt seems to be the only plugin file accessible – can you please check if all plugin files are in the folder https://awakeningyouth.com/wp-content/plugins/leaflet-maps-marker/ ? If you are not sure, please download the current package and overwrite the files on your server via FTP.

Are these files supposed to be set to a certain file permission? The file is there in that location. https://awakeningyouth.com/wp-content/plugins/leaflet-maps-marker/leaflet-geojson.php

please ask your hoster for assistance or compare the files and director with that from other plugins – the file should be accessible via the web for example….

I found the problem. The security plugin I was using denied access to all php files in the wp-content folder. Thanks
