    Hi,

Thanks for your great plugin but I have encountered some problems with it after your last update. Somehow the users cannot sent any links using the form and they get the message “are you sure you want to do that”. Also I ahev tried several times and for me also there is an error, meaning the links do get sent if I try but after the links has been sent you don’t see the message and the shortcode shows. Strange but perhaps you can help out. Otherwise great plugin and really use it a lot.

The form is in the dorp down mini menu saying “Klik hier om jouw Spanje….”

    Thanks. Remco

Hi, I have tried to reproduce your issue on my test site and cannot seem to get the same effect. Now, one thing I am suspecting is that you might have a security-based plugin in place that is disrupting plugins from executing correctly when it finds a query parameter in the link address.

When you submit a new link, it adds the query parameter ?addlinkmessage=8 to the address. I have seen some security plugins block any address that had a query parameter like this.

The first thing to try would be to disable any security plugin that you have installed temporarily, then see if the submission works correctly. If that does not help, then could you post a list of all of the plugins that you have installed? Is this running on a high-traffic site or would you be able to deactivate all plugins for a few moments to see if the link submission process works correctly? Or do you have a development copy of your site that you could try this on?

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks for your anwser.
I have figured it out, as usual it had to do with other plugins. I have the Plugin Organiser installed and this messed things up. Now it works again.

Thanks again for your help, although this time it was not a security issue but another plugin causing this problem.

Thanks for the update. Glad you figured out where the conflict was.
