mqTranslate compatibility?

    hi dan,

    trying to get DG working on a site which is translated by mqTranslate. my problem is – the shortcode just doesn’t do anyhing.

    after some troubles understanding the concept of “attached files” i’m quite sure i did everything right and i’m having multiple pdfs attached to a page – the media details show it “uploaded to” the page i want it to be. but the [dg] shortcode gives nothing.

    so i somehow got to suspect mqTranslate – as this stores the content and title of posts and pages with their own markup tags (ie. <!–:de–>Clippings<!–:–><!–:en–>Clippings<!–:–>)

    might this be a problem?

    Hi Markus,

    It does seem possible that mqTranslate is somehow disrupting DG functionality.

    If you want to test this, the best approach would be to disable all plugins except DG and switch to a default theme. If DG works under those circumstances, then one-by-one re-enable your plugins and switch back your theme. When DG stops working, whatever you re-enabled last is the culprit.

    ok dan, unfortunately i don’t had no time nor budget available for testing on this certain (live) installation, but if i’ll be using it again i’ll check for this.
