• I have been moving from MovableType to WordPress since yesterday and am almost finished. I have two problems, one of them more bothersome than the other.
On my main page, in the sidebar, next to the Archive list are

dots. Does anyone know how I can rid my site of these? It’s definitely not anywhere in my CSS and my index.php has nothing in it regarding a

        .
        See here.
Also, I am unable to upload images. I can get the JS pop-up, and even the caption I insert will show in the entry, but not the actual image.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
I’m happy I made the move and hope to move my friends’ blogs as well.

    • Are those dots the bullets for your list items? That is what they look like.

Thanks for all your help. I actually don’t want the unordered list dots. So, I think prara has the best idea.
I take it WP is harder to upgrade than MT, eh?
      Sounds that way, at least.

      Errrr, I don’t have a links.php in wp-admin.

sorry links.php in *wp-includes* happy hacking!

No. All you guys are way off. No php hacking is needed. Dots are the default styling for all lists. To turn them off turn to wp-layout.css and in ul li (as I recall)
      add <cite>list-style-type: none;</cite>

Well, in my case I need to apply a span.
