File Upload – File URL is selected, but Attachment ID is displayed

    Hi,
    The title pretty much says it. This is so weird… I was using File Upload/File URL just great on another site, same hosting, with a lot more plugins.

    The version is 2.3.6 on both. The only difference I can recall is that I had written Notes/Instructions on the field this time. When I saw the Attachment ID on my page, I tried deleting the Notes, and got some error. Then it seemed to be working OK, but still no File URL.

    Most peculiar. ??

    Use CFS()->get() instead of get_post_meta().

    Thanks for the tip!
    I’m still puzzled as to why get_post_meta worked on a similar site. I guess that will have to remain a mystery.

    It seems just a tad “lock-in-ish”, so I will have to keep that under consideration.
