• I’m a bit stuck on configuring these 3 plugins to work together and produce the desired result – PMPro, WooCommerce, WP Courseware. I have the add-ons installed that allow these 3 to work together.

    Done so far:
I have 2 levels of members set up through PMPro – Website Only (no cost to join but pay full prices on courses) and Full Member (annual fee that gives them access to some member’s only content and discounted prices on courses)

Course has been set up through WP Courseware. Course is set up as a product in WooCommerce. Through WooCOmmerce, I set a different price for the Website Only member and Full Member.

I’ve also set it so that a person is given the basic level of membership to allow them to access the course.

    How it should work:
Scenario 1: A Full member should be able to come to the site, buy a course, log in during the purchase process, see the discounted price, complete the checkout, and then access the course once payment is complete.

Scenario 2: A Website-Only member should be able to come to the site, buy a course, create an account if needed during the purchase process, see the full price, complete the checkout, and then access the course once payment is complete. If an account is being created, he should be given basic membership rights to be able to access the course.

    What’s happening:
On Scenario 1: A full member buys the course, discounted price isn’t showing up even though they logged in during the checkout process. Also, once they complete the checkout and the order is marked as complete, their membership level gets downgraded to the Website Only member instead of considering that the Full Member also has rights to the course and is a notch above the website only member. Also, on login, the course doesn’t show up/they don’t have any access to it.

On Scenario 2: The account gets created, the full price shows up, once the order is marked as complete, but on login, the course doesn’t show up/they don’t have any access to it.

I’m hoping that I’m just missing some settings that need to be tweaked to make things work.

I figured out the problem for scenario 2. I had to create a page with the shortcode that allows me to view the course that I’ve purchased. Yippee.

I am still stuck on the 1st scenario where a higher level member isn’t seeing the discounted price and gets downgraded once he purchases the course.

    Hey there,

Try switching the “Filter searches and archives?” option to “No” in Memberships > Advanced Settings and see if that helps.

    Thanks,
    Jess
