What is the difference between woocommerce version and wc database version

  • Hi,

    As a newbie to woocommerce I was wandering if it matters that the versions of woocommcerce and its database are different.

    Woocommerce version installed: 2.2.2, wc database version: 2.1.5 (according to system report).

    I am having serious problems after updating to WP4.0, woocommerce 2.2.2 and a theme (Enfold) update. I was wandering if the problems can be caused by the woocommerce plugin. I am just investigating where to find the solution.
