I’ve been testing the GCE plugin for the past couple of weeks and really like what it can do. My project is with a local high school’s athletics department. You can see my first attempt here: https://hiramathletics.com/calendar/ .

    I really have two questions:
    1) the client would like to have the page listed as above but also wants a schedule that can be found here below the 2 sliders :
    https://www.ttusports.com/landing/index
Can you offer any insight as to if this is possible utilizing your plugin along with lots of CSS to manipulate the data from the XML feed?

    2) They also want a results tab like the TTUSports page. Is it possible to display dates that have already passed? I was thinking if the person updates score information in the description area that it might be possible to do it in some fashion.

Any thoughts or observations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Charlie

    1. I mean it’s definitely a possibility to mimic something like that but it will take A LOT of CSS work. YOu might want to start with the list view and inspect the elements so you can get their classes and go from there.

    2. I’m not sure how feasible that is. It is possible to show older dates on the calendar, so you may be able to do it like you said by changing the description on your Google Calendar. You would also want to have a low cache for this if they are getting changed often.

Hope this helps at least a little bit. Let me know if you have any more questions.
