What is Gravatar.com?

    I realized that to change my WordPress account’s Avatar, I’ve to go on Gravatar.

    Could someone tell me what Gravatar is? And, moreover, can I log-in on Gravatar using my www.remarpro.com account?

    I also have another quick question for you. Before signing up on www.remarpro.com, I had signed up on WordPress.com.

    But now I was wondering: what’s the difference between www.remarpro.com and WordPress.com?
