Email translations upload

  • Hi,

    I’ve created a Spanish translation for the email templates (changing the .html files), but I don’t know where they should be uploaded (it is not explained in https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/languages/, maybe that info should be added to that page).

    I’ve tried with:
    mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/languages/email/es_ES
    mysite.com/wp-content/languages/pmpro/emails/es_ES
    mysite.com/wp-content/languages/pmpro/es_ES

    None of them seem to work, all emails are still in english. Maybe it’s not a problem with the uploaded folders, but other configuration issues, I don’t know…

    PD: I would be willing to share the translation files I’ve created, but I adapted the texts to my site, so they are probably not useful for anybody else as they are.

  • Hey there,

    Email templates should go in your theme under /yourtheme/paid-memberships-pro/email, not the language folder like the other translation files. Additionally you can use the Email Templates addon to make things a bit easier.
