    Is the ID actually changed in the database? If it is, could you try clearing your cache and see if that helps?

    What error messages are you receiving?

    Hi,
    there’s no user with ID1 in the database but your plugin, after update, tell so. It’s not a cache problem.

    About the second problem:
    When I save some option I receive this error message:
    The file path entered for the log location does not appear to be valid. it has been reset to …wp-content/uploads/ithemes-security/logs and backups
    I checked about the path and the two folders both exist.

    One last thing, not very important but may it can help you: after the update, the plugin icon in the menu disapper.
    I did the update both automatically and manually and the resault is the same.

    Problems turn uot only when I upgrade an already installed plugin version. On new installation I don’t have any problem: maybe this can be important for you
