Can mashup be made to work with Link category IDs?

    Tried to use a Simple Links category to restrict the POIs that post on a map but Link category IDs don’t appear to work with Geo Mashup. In fact, the map doesn’t even post if only the Link category is used for cat_id. It works fine with Post category IDs.

    Is there a way to get it to recognize category IDs for types (especially Simple Links) other than regular posts and pages?

    BTW – I do have link categories checked in Include Taxonomies and Simple Links checked in Collect Location For

    Tried ‘[geo_mashup_map map_post_type=”links”]’ and ‘[geo_mashup_map map_post_type=”simple-links”]’ but the map doesn’t even show, as if the shortcode wasn’t even there.

    Looks like it should be

    [geo_mashup_map map_post_type=”simple_link”]
