Getting the same error here and it is no longer showing/working on the blog site.

Which Role do you have as user, while trying to access the options page?

Same here. I just installed v 0.8.4 using WP 4.0. On clicking ‘Settings’ I get the message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” Logged in as admin. By the reviews it looks like a very useful plugin, so I hope you can come up with a fix soon. Thanks for your efforts.

Just found the bug! I just forgot to update the plugin’s link, in the plugins page. If you go to Options -> Smooth Scroll Up everything works as expected.

Please update to version 0.8.5, bug was fixed!

This works for me now too, except that with all the back-and-forth the plug-in had forgotten ALL my custom settings (and me too) ??

BTW: I am using UNICODE character #10699 as an arrow up, it looks like this:

found it, something to do with the cache I was using… Fixed.
