I just land a client who wants this site https://akanett.net/ftbsi/ outfitted with an eCommerce shopping cart. I searched and found Marketpress. I install it today and trying to get a feel how it works. Even though everything looks okay, when I click on the store setting tabs to configure, only the first tab “General” work. Nothing happens when I click on the rest.

Would love to get some help on that. Is it because it is the free version?

    Thanks
    Austin

    Hi Austin,

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

All the MarketPress plugin settings tab should work without any issue in this free version plugin.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine on my test site.

Can you check the javascript console for errors?

In Chrome go to “View -> Developer -> Javascript Console” and in Firefox you can go to “Tools -> Web Developer -> Console”

Let me know what errors if any you are getting so that i can troubleshoot it.

The issue you are facing may be due to theme or plugin conflict that you are using on your site.

You can just try on your development site deactivating all other plugins and using default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/ plugin is conflicting if any.

    Hi Austin,

Thank you for sharing the errors.

It seems from the error messages that the “Uncaught ReferenceError” javascript error is caused by theme-options.js file which i think your theme is using.

Could you please try temporary using default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen as described in my previous reply to check whether this issue is causing by your theme or not?
