Simple Plugin Monitor – where is download installed?

  • SDM looks like the right choice for my app to download 2 files – an Excel spreadsheet template and a PDF User Guide.
    However, the tutorial does not show where the download can be installed when user clicks “Download now”. The “Save as…” selection does not show the resulting screen in the tutorial so I can know what choices are given the user.
    In the Reviews was an example of a customer who used it for her recipe site (nice job) and after “Download now” it instantly displayed the PDF. It did not display the expected screen showing the suggested download location. And a search with File Manager of the downloads folder (and others) did not reveal where it had been downloaded to.
    So the question is “After Download Now – do you show a screen for user to see the suggested download location (and edit if needed)?”
    If not can you suggest a plugin that does do this?
