  • Hi Dddt,

I’m not sure I follow you here–what do you mean “not being zoomed in”? Where is this happening? How can I reproduce the problem here? Can you provide a list of steps you’re following?

When I click to enlarge the image it shows the thumbnail size.

Have you tried a conflict test? Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with AWPCP, which may help pinpoint the issue: https://awpcp.com/forum/faq/how-to-test-for-plugintheme-conflicts/

Also, are you using the lightbox feature in AWPCP? Does it help to turn it off? (Classifieds->Settings, Images tab)

The lightbox does not help, the problem stays no matter it is on or off. The theme is ok, no conflict

Just checked, no conflict with any plugin ??

OK, to look into this further, we’ll need to get site access to see what is going on. Can we please get WP admin and FTP credentials to your site to dig into this further?

Contact us here with that info: https://awpcp.com/contact/

Ok, I am sending the credentials right away!

    Thanks.

@awpcp, Please don’t ask for FTP credentials. That is far beyond your responsibilities as a plugin author.

Thanks @andrew–I’m just trying to help out here. I find that having FTP credentials allows for better debugging if there’s something our plugin is doing poorly in a particular environment. No malicious intention here.

I’m sorry but still it stands, we cannot allow that risk to be opened up.

    • Plugin and theme authors may post their contact URL or even their email address in their own support sub-forum, but that should be a last resort thing.
    • Forum members, including plugin and theme authors, should never ask for admin or FTP access to a server, MySQL, or WordPress installation.

    @andrew thanks for your care!

I trust @awpcp , we have worked together previously. This is a serious business.

    OK, I understand. Thanks.

    hello again,

I would like to thank u for the solution (u suggested to delete “large” images from uploads and it is resolving the problem, temporary) BUT it is very difficult to get into root of website every time an ad is posted to delete “large” file to make it possible to to enlarge images.

I wonder if whether there is any other solution for this problem which will not make me to get into root of website every time an ad is posted to delete “large” file to make it possible to to enlarge images?

    thanks in advance

That should be a one-time fix. You really need to adjust your image size for the non-thumbnail so that it’s not the same size as the thumbnail.

The “fix” we gave was to handle all the existing images–it should just be something you need to do once, and then change the sizes in your Images tab so that any new images are created correctly afterward.

Where should I change what should I change, I did not get it ??
