Desperately need help–Pages don’t show, etc

  • Started having problems last night with new blog with pages and posts outlined below and uploading
    from FTP to WordPress.

    -Started to experience problems editing copy from mac text edit, where code started coming into the English. Then my copy wouldn’t appear on the site, although it showed in Preview and Edit.

    -I trashed the theme in thinking that was the problem. I tried uploading different files of the theme six times through my FTP program before it uploaded, although they showed in the proper WordPress folder.

    -Even with a new version of the theme, the copy still doesn’t show up on the site. I tried it with all of the templates for WordPress. It is a universal problem! The copy doesn’t appear with any of them

    Hosting company advised me to delete 2.1 and reinstall through Fantastico which now was 2.1.1.

    Same problems, only with additional search box and an error message that says that what I’m looking for is not found. Looks like it duplicated from sidebar and migrated. Sidebar were turned off with other edition.

    Was expecting to launch this as a website this morning.

    Limited technical skills and no coding knowledge
    am sad to report.
