New website, same url

  • Hi all,

    I would like to create a new version of my website. The current version is a WordPress as well, and i would like to know if I can simply create a new one on the same account, in the background while I developp it with a new theme, and then upload it so that it appears instead of the current one, on the same url ??

  • I would suggest installing a second copy of WordPress in a new directory or sub-domain for testing, then move the template to your main WordPress install when you’re ready.
