• this is a message i got from my host
“hosting account is using excessive mysql resources on your shared hosting server. Your account is using on a daily basis over 21% of MySQL CPU time.

As these MySQL queries were causing immediate quality of service problems on your shared server we have been forced to disable web access to the following location/script:”

    Then goes on to say
“The 3 first IPs are from Google Bots, which a good thing, your website is being crawled and indexed by Google. However, this is a massive number of hits for a shared server, and generates a very high load, specially in WordPress websites, because of the way Cron works in it.”

    since then i have
-created a cron job to schedule only once every other day
    -disabled all but necessary plugins
    – created a cron job and changed it 3 times, now schedule only once every other day
    – disabled plugins unless necessary for functionality
    – removed my google analytics

Nothing seems to be helping and im not getting any help from the host other than telling me my resource points are six times to high

However, this is a massive number of hits for a shared server, and generates a very high load, specially in WordPress websites, because of the way Cron works in it.

Interesting. I haven’t seen any other hosts complaining.

You need to upgrade to WordPress 4.0. Having an outdated version of WP is asking for trouble.
