Changing post order
-
I might be doing it wrong. I tried to follow the Github instructions, and I thought it said I should put one page of my webcomic in each post. I did that.
It’s finicky; I can’t bulk-upload multiple pages to the library and then pick them to go in posts, that doesn’t work. The only way it works is to create a post, upload a page for it, save it. And I can only do about eight of those in a row before I lose the connection to my server and can’t get it back, so it took a week and a half to upload 124 pages.
So I’ve got one page per post, and each chapter of my comic in its own storyline (5 chapters).
I got a couple of pages out of order. Now I’m discovering I can’t fix it; it seems the “webcomic media” page I was counting on to do that is… intended to rearrange pages inside a single post? It sure doesn’t seem to work for rearranging posts.
So now I’m wondering if I’m doing this all wrong. Should I be putting a whole storyline in one post? I know lots of people use Webcomics. It shouldn’t be this hard, should it? Am I missing something obvious?
Here’s the WP Webcomics page I’m trying to put together: crylock.net/cgi/wp
I’d appreciate any advice anybody can give me!
