Upgraded to WordPress 4.0 Issues

    Hello,

    Please excuse me as I am a WordPress rookie but I am having some issues now that I have updated to WP 4.0. If anyone can help that would be great.
    The issues I have so far are
    1. When I go to a page to edit it all I get is a turning circle like it is trying to load but never does. I am using Avia Layout builder.
    2. I can create new posts on my blog but many of the tool bar buttons are not working for me now, the add a link button as stopped working.

    I can provide more information if needed, I am unsure of what to do but need to make updates to my website and I am stuck.

    I ran the debug process that is in the support forum and here are the results.

    throw new Error(“Syntax error, unrecognized expression: “+a)}
    Syntax error, unrecognized expression: a[rel=]

    Issue still exists from my initial post

    Have you tried disabling the Layout Builder to see if that’s causing the issue?

    I have tried to disable the Layout Builder but I am not sure how. Could you explain? Sorry for being so lost on this

    It’s probably a plugin that needs to be deactivated.

    I have deactivated all plugins and the problem is still there. As I dug into the problem more I have noticed that.
    1. I cant add tags to blog posts
    2. I can still edit my sliders and things but not a page.

    I updated my Theme “Enfold” and this fixed my problem. Thanks for taking a look at the problem for me.

    I am having the same issue. I updated Enfold to the latest version, everything seemed to work then and now upon re-loading a few hours later, it say the server timed out, and it won’t load.

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

    All my issues occurred before I updated the Enfold theme. Once I updated it I had no problems with WP 4.0.

    I just had to update my thermofrost username and API key in the Enfold settings, and the theme updated its self.

    Mine is working again…

    Thanks mine working again because i told my web hosting re-load a old version of my website and i don’t have wordpress 4.0 it rubbish

    Mine self-resolved so I am not sure if it was my hosting company that went out for a bit.

    The two definitely work. I suspect that plug-ins however may not work with it. They are usually to blame.

    I had the same problem.

    When I walk in the wp-admin area of the post or page, things do not carry.
    I noticed that when placing a #teste the end of the url and press enter the pages work without any problem!

    Someone found a solution? This occurred after atiualizar to 4.0, my theme is also enfold.
