• This seems to have been asked a bunch of times before but I haven’t found an answer that works for me yet. I just installed wordpress and my homepage (cicora.com) is blank. I can get to the admin page just fine and see everything there. I checked my host to make sure IIS supports index.php as a home page and made sure that my ftp program transferred the php in binary. Installation went fine with no errors and like I said, I can get to the admin screen. But there is nothing on my home page, not the wordpress generated post or the post I made.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • My installation went fine. I am able to create posts/pages, view dashboard, change themes but not view any of the pages – published or unpublished. All the pages are blank.

    I have the same problem, I uninstalled and installed WP three times now and the problem persists. It would help if moderators give some indication on what the problem could be.

    “I think this might be an IIS issue in a shared environment.

    In the index.php, I replaced the following line

    require(‘./wp-blog-header.php’);

    with

    require(‘wp-blog-header.php’);

    Now, it seems to work.”

    It works!!!!

    Thanks jhgall

    I installed wp and I had this problem.

    I followed “Brandan Booth’s Everyman’s WordPress Installation Guide”. The guide told me to change the wp-content/themes permissions to 666. This was the problem
