Polylang – Sharing pages across languages
-
I am investigating using Polylang to see of I can use it for a business with offices in the Uk and in Australia. Some of the pages will be specific to the country (Contact, about us) so can write a pair of pages using polylang. However the services the companies offer in the two countries are the same and, unless I wish to upset Google with duplicate content, can share the same pages i.e as the site has been set up the Australian site would share the UK services pages.
However when setting up the Navigation Menus if I include the UK services in the Australian menu, and a visitor clicks on these they’ll be taken to the UK ‘side’ of the site and unless I have the different flags (which I want to avoid) the visitor won’t be able to get back to the Australian without re-entering the .au url.
Does this make sense.. not tired this on the live site yet only the offline development site.
Am I over complicating things by using Polylang? Have I missed something in Polylang which would solve my problem?
Thoughts appreciated
Pete
