FAVICON ISSUES

  • ok, apparently many trouble shooters are having a hard time understanding what I am talking about. I am trying to upload my webbrowser “logo” and it still won’t display. Everytime I pull up my website it is showing the hostgator “logo” in the web browser next to my website name.

    I already followed “How to” steps for favicon, I would like some assistance with this please

  • What WordPress theme are you using? Are there any theme-specific settings for the favicon?

    I am using “Trending News” (Trending News) theme. I did not see specific instructions.

    I downloaded the Favicon widget.

    Everytime I pull up my website it is showing the hostgator “logo” in the web browser next to my website name.

    Check if there’s a favicon.ico in your website’s folder. You may need to delete that.

    Thank you yes I contacted hostgator and I needed to delete the favicon.ico in my folder, although i’m still having issues uploading my preferred favicon, but I will take it up with them
