Error in Equation

I can no longer use the latex equation efficiently on this version. Every version of WordPress makes things worse than the previous one in terms of WYSIWYG editor. This one is probably the worse WYSIWYG editor.
For instance, this code: [latex]Average = \frac{5}{6}[/latex] will give you frac56, that is how it will display it. instead of using the normal fraction.
